Accessibility Policy in Compliance with the Canadian Federal Accessibility Act
  1. Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to outline Silverpoint Energy Services Inc.’s commitment to creating an inclusive and accessible environment for all individuals, including employees, customers, and visitors, in compliance with the Canadian Federal Accessibility Act (Accessible Canada Act).
  1. Scope
This policy applies to all employees, contractors, and visitors of Silverpoint Energy Services Inc., as well as to all facilities and services provided by the company.
  1. Policy Statement
Silverpoint Energy Services Inc. is committed to providing an accessible environment in which all individuals have equal access to our facilities, services, and employment opportunities. We strive to identify, remove, and prevent barriers to accessibility in our operations, in accordance with the principles outlined in the Canadian Federal Accessibility Act.
  1. Definitions
– Accessibility: The design of products, devices, services, or environments for people with disabilities. – Barrier: Anything that hinders the full and equal participation in society of persons with disabilities. This includes physical, architectural, information and communications, attitudinal, technological, and systemic barriers. – Disability: Any impairment, including physical, mental, intellectual, cognitive, learning, communication, or sensory impairments, which may be permanent, temporary, or episodic.
  1. Responsibilities
– Management: Ensure the implementation and enforcement of this policy, allocate necessary resources, and promote a culture of accessibility within the organization. – Employees: Comply with the accessibility policy, participate in training, and support colleagues and customers with accessibility needs. – Accessibility Officer: Oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of accessibility initiatives and ensure compliance with the Canadian Federal Accessibility Act.
  1. Accessibility Standards
Silverpoint Energy Services Inc. will adhere to the following accessibility standards: – Customer Service: Provide accessible customer service by ensuring that all employees are trained on how to interact with people with various disabilities and how to use assistive devices provided by the company. – Information and Communication: Ensure that all information and communications, including websites, are accessible to people with disabilities by following the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. – Employment: Provide equal employment opportunities by making accommodations during the recruitment process, employment, performance management, career development, and redeployment. – Built Environment: Ensure that all new builds and renovations are compliant with accessibility standards, providing barrier-free access to all facilities. – Training: Provide ongoing training to employees on accessibility standards, disability awareness, and the company’s policies and procedures related to accessibility.  
  1. Feedback and Reporting
Silverpoint Energy Services Inc. encourages feedback on the accessibility of our services and facilities.   1. Monitoring and Review
This policy will be reviewed annually, or more frequently if required, to ensure ongoing compliance with the Canadian Federal Accessibility Act and to incorporate improvements based on feedback and best practices.
