Our Executive Team includes two Alberta Metis Members and Silverpoint plans on becoming a certified Canadian aboriginal business in the near future.
Indigenous Policy
The key management personnel and shareholders at Silverpoint have a long history of working with Indigenous stakeholders and value our relationships since starting in the environmental and vacuum/water truck business in the early 1990’s. Gerry Kerkhoff (President & CEO) and Galin Kerkhoff (Vice President) are proud of their Métis heritage and are active members of the Métis Nation of Alberta and the Indigenous Congress of Alberta.
The Purpose of this policy:
To affirm Silverpoint Energy Services Inc.’s commitment to respecting and partnering with Indigenous Peoples, acknowledging their traditional knowledge, values, beliefs, and connections to the land.

– Support reconciliation efforts in Canada.
– Embrace Call to Action #92 from the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada. - Leadership:
– Ensure our leadership promotes Indigenous inclusion and positive results.
– Gerry Kerkhoff and Galin Kerkhoff, both Métis actively guide
Silverpoint’s Indigenous engagement strategies.

– Promote equitable representation of Indigenous Peoples in our workforce.
– Create an inclusive and supportive workplace for Indigenous employees.
